The "salt of the Earth" has begun to run out. This is not the case because there is none of it left. Rather, salt is running out because its purpose has been fulfilled. I'm speaking figuratively here, and in a spiritual sense. There have been energies present upon this planet since the beginning, which have but one reason for existence: preservation of the established order.

Salt, as an essence, has always been considered "preservative" in nature. Without it, or something like it, organic substances (particularly proteins) begin to rot. When meats are cut up, dried, and packed in salt - they are said to be "cured." Words are interesting, aren't they? They reveal a lot - particularly when you measure their manifold usage in any particular culture. The word "cure" has other meanings as well. Diseases are said to be "cured." Some diseases are said to be "incurable." Add an accent mark to the "e" in "cure" and the word, in French, means "priest."

I'd hate to be named "Norm" - wouldn't you? You would tend to feel so... so... average. But "Norm" is a very popular man these days. We study hard in school, we practice daily in sports, we persevere in all manner of personal organization and discipline - all so we can beat him in every area of our lives. If we go to the Doctor, lift up our shirt, and fail to find him there - we break out in a cold sweat.

Truly, the physicians of today have become priests of a very special and important religion. But what IS that religion? In many ways, Doctors have become "Keepers of the Norm." Sustainers of their own definition of what that status quo should be. MORE ON THIS



This expression of "The New Normal" was coined by our news organizations in those fateful days following September 11, 2001. If you will recall, the world was truly in turmoil. People were walking on eggshells---leaving commerce, travel, and private enterprise hanging in suspension. In an effort to jump-start the American heart again, President Bush urged people to go back to living their lives, as much as possible, like they NORMALLY would live them.

At the time, this whole premise seemed laughable. Eight years later, it still seems laughable. WHAT IS NORMAL, ANYWAY? Where in the world has this "Norm" guy been hiding????

This is our current topic, Sunday Nights, on Blog Talk Radio. The energies of Planet Earth have been whirling so fast and furious lately that it's all a person can do to remain upright, let alone measure his or her behavior against some arbitrary standard for "What Should be."

How does a body survive? This is our current focus of concern. The short answer would be: STAY HEART-CENTERED. The Reconnections have been emphasizing this for years. They have told us:

The answer to that question is STOP SUFFERING YOURSELF.........and listen to what is being shared here. Begin sourcing your strength and motivation from within, and show everyone around you what that looks like. Do not preach, and do not seek them out to evangelize. Just keep washing your own "potatoes" (as the story says).....and others will seek YOU out, and learn from you how to survive this awesome translation into 4D Consciousness." (end excerpt)
